Question: What compensation am i entitled to as a lawyer's witness?

My sister is suing her nursing home for injury and loss. My mother and I who used to visit her there, we have been subpoenaed by the nursing home's lawyer. We would like to know what our "lawyer's witness fee " is supposed to be or how much compensation we are entitled to for our travel expenses and time spent for the subpoena. I tried to google it and got lots of irrelevant links. Will someone please advise me or post a link as to where I can get the answer? Thanx. :)

None .Unless you are a hired professional .If you were supeonead you gotta show up.Call the attorney who had you served the papers.Talk to him and waste as much of his 200$ to 400$ a hour time as possible picking his brains.
